  security we can build for ourselves but in the Lord’s provision.
  
• Giving demonstrates our recognition that all things truly belong
  to God and that we are His stewards.
  
• Giving demonstrates that our hope or identity is not found in
  our material wealth but in Jesus Christ.
  
• Giving demonstrates our love for our Lord and a desire to see
  His work accomplished in this world.
