At The Way Church, our worship team’s goal is simple:
to use music as a powerful tool to point people to God.
We strive to blend truth with song in a way that invites everyone into a deeper experience of worship. Each Sunday, we aim to help all who gather remember God’s glory, celebrate the redemptive work of Jesus on the cross, and be moved by the Holy Spirit. Our hope is that as you leave, you carry the joy of worship with you, singing God’s praises throughout the week—until we can all worship together again the next Sunday.

How can we sing songs written by people we don't align with doctrinally? This is a question we get from time to time. And we are very cautious in our song selection process, sometimes even changing a word or two if it sounds misleading. FAQs
What style of music do you sing at The Way Church?
We sing music from a variety of styles and time periods, a mixture of hymns and modern music, mostly played in a more modern contemporary style.
What instruments do you have in your band?
The variety of instruments in our band varies depending on who is on the Worship Team from time to time. Each Sunday, a different set of musicians is scheduled to lead worship. Some Sundays, the band consists of a guitar, a male vocalist, and a female vocalist. Other Sundays, we will have a guitar, a male vocalist, 2 female vocalists, keys, bass, and a full drum set. It really just varies depending on the week.
How do you decided what songs you will play during a worship service?
All of our songs go through an approval process before they are ever played on a Sunday morning. Songs are evaluated based upon Biblical accuracy, doctrinal alignment, Gospel proclamation, and how easy they are to sing along with, amongst several other factors. All songs that we sing on a Sunday morning have been approved by our church Elders.
